I am grateful for your voice as I find myself experiencing inarticulate rage and sorrow. I shake my fists in the air, and you catch them and tell me you’ve got it.
Really excellent. I have a trans masc teen in Texas, and your voice is always one I listen to because your perspective contains multitudes (and you're a damn fine writer).
Great ads. I especially loved your haiku, even though it was written with a clock ticking. You are a remarkable woman, Charlotte, and I am grateful for your thoughts and perspective in my inbox.
I love these ads! I think they give a sense of who you are, what you believe, and why you write. I particularly like the first one. I hope you don't mind if I borrow the self-identifier of "an insufferable political nerd from an early age." I can relate. Thanks for sharing these ads. Good on Substack/Cash Studios for offering an opportunity to highlight "Charlotte's Web Thoughts." I will now do my part by sharing these with friends and family.
I love your voice—both literally and in your writing. I believe trans people suffer the worst oppression and hate of any in the LGBTQI+ community.
I am bi, but the love of my life was a woman, Lisa, who died of cancer in 2014. I say bi, because I’ve been married to two men: the first in my 20s to an abusive asshole. Now, to my life companion who Lisa and I worked with. He came into my life a few months after she died (over the three years before that, I’d lost everything, not for the first time) and helped me save myself.
I can “pass. Remember Rita Mae Brown’s assertion that sexuality falls in a spectrum, and if we all had a blue dot on our forehead, it would range from light to dark blue? I lean toward the gay end. However, I’ve never had to suffer the terror of constantly being ridiculed, mocked, and in danger because people generally don’t understand gender expression and it frightens them and who they profess to be.
This is my long-winded way of saying that I am always awed by your courage and clarity, Charlotte.

Excellent! I love everything about the ads. You did a wonderful job... poised, sincere, confident. 👏👏👏👏👏

Charlotte, your words are always so eloquent. I enjoyed hearing them in your own voice ❤️

These are great. I´ve been following you for many years and have loved seeing you emerge as a powerful voice for so many.

Thank you, Charlotte! It's nice getting to know you, outside of your writing.
What a voice! Fire, Charlotte, fire! Thank you.
Each was enlightening and now I have your voice with me when I read your posts. Love that.
