I suspect Olivia would have liked this quite a bit and would have treasured the tribute. Lovely piece of writing, Charlotte. Oddly, since our backgrounds are pretty different, there were parts that evoked some of my own childhood memories. And because the context is so different, those memories have a sweetness that I was happy to revisit. So I also thank you for that unexpected side trip. I also wonder who among my acquaintances might have been struggling as you did. So... lots to think about.
