Maybe they could try tighter fitting shorts and more plunging necklines….

Thanks for this. To be clear, I'm a huge men's and women's college basketball fan, have season tickets to both men and women for Gonzaga. But there's a reason I'm packing for Portland, not Detroit this year! Have had women's games on TV almost continuously. Our men continue 25 years of greatness, and I'm thrilled they made it to the Sweet 16 in an "off" year. But our women's program has also been outstanding for a while and they have an incredible group of players (4 grad students back for their COVID year) and are the ones I'm more optimistic could make the Final Four this year. Just had 2 sold out, crazy-loud games at home. Was impressed with the ticket prices in Portland--definitely more than I've paid for men's tickets in the past (and VERY grateful I was able to get 2 tickets at face value through Gonzaga...).

Love what you did here. As one who directly benefitted from Title IX back in 1972, if only 'twas true. Not the attention, but the funding. Onward we march.

You’re great, Charlotte! It’s such a JOY to watch Caitlin Clark and all our Iowa women’s bb team - Kate Martin, Gabbie Marshall, Sharon Goodman, Sydney Affolter, Hannah Stuelke and Molly Davis. Coach Bluder puts the T in teamwork and the I in integrity. I hope you will get an opportunity to see the Hawkeyes play in the NCAA tourney. It’s electrifying!

My late partner (10 years gone now) originally went to college on a basketball/softball scholarship. I always think of her when I watch basketball. She would have loved this. I did for sure.
