Great speech. But I feel a little dumb. I was very young when Watergate happened, and had seen/heard Barbara Jordan, but I had no idea she was queer. She was just a great politician.
The way it should be. All this nonsense about putting people in boxes so you can isolate them from others, lock them up nice and tight, spending so much energy spent on hate and so little on making our collective lives better.
