Can't we just have a midrise jean? Gotta search high and low for something that isn't high rise or low rise. Lucky jeans had a few mid rise choices a few years ago. Levi had none. Zero. Haven't looked since, so maybe it's gotten better.

Thank you for this post considering how depressing everything else is right now. I actually agree with everything you wrote except for the MCU. MCU movies and series (Loki, etc.) are just some escapist fun and they won't ruin cinema, it's a phase. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I always enjoy your essays.

//I used to believe that Flamin’ Hot Cheetos are the best chips. I was wrong. It’s actually Lays’ Salt & Vinegar. Check in with me next year to see if this changes.\\

Have you tried Cape Cod Salt and Vinegar or Herr’s Salt and Vinegar chips? Those will definitely give your lips a tingle! Only in central PA will you find an entire side of a grocery store isle devoted to chips and the other side to pretzels. And about half of the brands were regional. (Although come to think of it, MN was a close second) Then there are Grandma Utz’s. Martins, Kay and Rays.

Happy Birthday! Low rise jeans and Aaron both HAD their day (and I was very much younger then)! But please no more. I’m very happy to see you come around to the Salt & Vinegar camp! Next year may you discover the joy of Lay’s Lightly Salted Classic chips! 🎉🎁💐🤗

I agree with every one of these... but this was the first time I heard about the anal beads. Yikes! Happiest of Birthdays to you, Charlotte. You are a gift to the world and I hope we appreciate you enough.

Charlotte. I understand your shortcomings. One cannot expect a Texan to see beyond their own longhorns when it comes to snack chips. You must understand that as a former Frito-Lay employee, I can be trusted in these matters. You haven’t truly experienced salt and vinegar chips until you’ve had Herr’s salt and vinegar chip.

You’re welcome for my service.

I love both Flamin Hot Cheetos and Salt and Vinegar Lay's, and luckily they are both well stocked at my local corner store. Why can't we love them both equally Charlotte??
