Ha! I watched the first two seasons so I could gratefully and brag-fully say “I’ve been there, I’ve seen that, oh yes that café was wonderful.”

Also - the accents and clothing: je les aime.

Can’t wait to binge the third season.

Ok, I admittedly have been resistant to watching, but given your suggested perspective I just might give it a chance!

I watched a few episodes and found I could only continue to watch it with the sound turned off. The acting is atrocious. The plot lines are absurd. The access she has to luxurious Paris events would be absurd even in a fairy tale.

If anyone wants to watch a somewhat over the top but at least well acted and semi-plausible version of a show set in Paris with a somewhat similar theme, it’s “Call My Agent” which features a fictional agency for French actors, with various real stars making cameo appearances.
