Super Tuesday was such a turning point. I canvassed for Elizabeth Warren in Nashville and Ashley Judd came to send us off to knock on doors. It was thrilling seeing the caliber of intelligent fierce progressive women who went all in on her campaign. I remember you standing up for her to Bernie’s folks who were rude to her and her people. You were unflappable insisting that the issues mattered and telling them as they pouted endlessly “Build a coalition. Win the next two primaries, focus on winning the nomination.” You were amazing standing for Hillary in 2016. You have been the voice of sanity and equality in some effed up times, and I can’t imagine the real terror LGBTQ folks have felt the last five years. Elizabeth was so right to call you Charlotte.
