By Alito's "logic", only wealthy white men have inviolate rights. This shows how thin the veneer of "country that is looked at as a world leader" really is. The rest of the world has looked at us with a WTF? look for quite a while; now they'll be turning their backs.
I’m an over educated 70 year old, with (yes) cats, a husband, 3 kids, 1 grand babe & 1 on the way.
I am overflowing with white, hot, pulsating, volcanic rage. I already fought this fight, working for Planned Parenthood in the 1970’s. I counseled pregnant teens, & little girls who’d been raped by their uncles & daddy’s, & yes, married women who didn’t need anyone else telling them what to do with their uterus & their life.
I am livid that a small minority of white, entitled assholes are hell bent on taking us back to the 50’s. I remember coat hangers, & back alley abortion, & women dying in a pool of their own blood.
I will die on this hill.
I too, was told I was “over reacting,” that Roe was “settled law.” & yet here we are. Next they’re coming for birth control, & gay marriage, & trans kids & adults, & interracial marriage, & on & on until only white, rich, cis male “Christian’s” have rights.
