As a member of a congregation that was previously evangelical to the extent I was uncomfortable (yet reluctant to leave the status quo), I'm happy to say that, after a tumultuous split ten years ago, we are a happy group that welcomes all. Progress!! We do not all see things through the same lens, and we accept that fact. That's important to me -- especially as the mother of a trans woman.
