This is sad, infuriating, funny and all too true. Excellent work Charlotte.

Beautifully done, Charlotte. I propose that, if Democrats ever win back the majority, we mandate that only the children of registered Republicans be drafted for war. They're the ones who want it, their kids should be the ones who fight it.

My anger, dismay, disappointment, and... yes... rage, burn with the heat of a thousand suns toward the people perpetrating this insanity, as well as toward those who voted for it - even after they were told what would happen. I am tired of seeing MAGAts being interviewed and saying "But I didn't vote for this," even while knowing that YES, yes they DID vote for it.

This is the one that turned me into a paid subscriber.

Razor sharp and devastating.

As always, this is perfection. Or maybe pure brilliance. Perhaps simply fantastic.

Anyway, thank you.

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. And sad, and terrifying.

Although totally different in tone, this ranks with your piece on the Arlington Honor Guard as among your best. It would be funny if it weren’t so devastatingly true.

Brilliant, Charlotte! It is exactly his type of bravado. He needs to:

1. Feel strong to himself

2. Distract from his other failings

3. Look like a hero to his base
